What exactly is Vested Impact?

Vested Impact is an investor community for professional women. We teach you how to understand and manage equity compensation (RSUs), build diversified portfolios, and evaluate impact investment opportunities. Think of it as your wealth operating system—intelligence before capital.

How is this different from a financial advisor?

We don't provide personal financial advice. We provide education, tools, and frameworks so you can make your own informed decisions. A financial advisor tells you what to do with your money. We teach you how to think about your money so you can decide for yourself.

Do I need to be technical or have a finance background?

No. You need operating experience and judgment, which you have if you've gotten to a professional level in any field.

What kind of capital do I need?

You do not need a specific type of wealth to start here. Vested Impact is useful if you have investable capital from sources like:

• An inheritance or settlement

The common thread is this: you want to diversify thoughtfully over time, rather than leave big decisions to chance.

Do I need to have RSUs?

No. Restricted Stock Units (RSU)s are one example of concentrated wealth. The concepts we teach apply to many forms of concentrated assets.

Do I need to work in tech?

No. Operating experience translates across industries. If you have built teams, managed risk, shipped outcomes, or made hard calls with incomplete information, you already have the raw ingredients for investment judgment.

No. That's not the goal. You'll learn how to think about portfolio construction, asset allocation, risk management, and how to evaluate investment opportunities (funds, startups, diversification strategies). Stock picking is speculation—we focus on strategy.

Will you tell me what to invest in?

No. We don't provide personal financial advice or specific investment recommendations. We teach you frameworks to evaluate opportunities on your own. You decide where to put your money.

Who is Sinéad Fitzgerald?

I'm a partnerships builder at Microsoft and the founder of Vested Impact. I have deep experience in enterprise commercial software sales, healthtech partnerships, and helping startups scale. I'm also a woman in software, a working mum, and someone who's navigated the equity comp confusion firsthand. This work comes from lived experience.
